Hello Mushy! I'm so glad you made it here. Welcome to the forum. I love your Fb group. It's a great place for support, information and a good laugh too. I've also received a lot of support here, especially in the early days and weeks after becoming ill when I was in a lot of emotional turmoil. The forum is really good for information too and whatever your problem or question someone else will have been through it too and will be able to advise. I was so excited when I saw your name here so thanks for putting a smile on my face.

Hi Sarah - good to meet you. I'm Sylvia - I'm 55 and also have teenage daughters - my youngest are 13 and 15, so we've got a lot in common! My 15 yr old Olivia is currently doing GCSEs, but at this moment she is tucked up in bed with tonsilitis so feeling very sorry for herself. I was diagnosed May 12, and am on MTX and HDX and feeling much MUCH better than back in those early days. I have to be careful with my hands as they are having a bit of a flare atm, but otherwise I'm fine. I tried your link but it said "content not available" - it's probably a permissions thing! Try sending me a friend request - I'm Sylvia Dell Very best wishes Be kinder than is necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

Hi Sarah, and welcome to the forum. I`m Kathleen, have two grown-up sons, and two gorgeous grandsons - so I`m a bit "out of the loop" as far as teenagers go! Take care, and nice to "meet"you. Kathleen x

Hello Sarah
Welcome to the forum.
My symptoms started about 5 years ago and I was diagnosed with RA in May that year. I started Enbrel last year and I am now enjoying remission. I've done a blog about it in the blog section.
Hope you are feeling better soon.
Paula x

Hi Sarah, I am 40 and mum to 2 wee boys of 7 and 9. I was just officially diagnosed this week so am still coming to terms with it. I am just grateful there is a place like this to be in touch with others going through the same thing. x

Hi Mushy - I've joined your FB group, and my oh my, is it an active group! Very lively, so thanks for inviting me. Just so you know, I try to limit my online time, so I can't follow everything or I'd be doing nothing else except posting messages - hahahha! This forum is my main focus, and I put most of my time here, so please don't be put off if I don't post much in your group - it's very valuable and the more methods there are of spreading good support and friendship the better. Best wishes and I do hope that your membership continues to grow and be as lively and friendly as it is. Love and hugs - Sylvia xx Be kinder than is necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

Love and hugs - Sylvia xx It is so lovely to see you there, we have many members who pop in and out, then there are the ones who post most days, either way is brilliant. Like you say, it brings people together and spreads support. Hope you had a lovely weekend Love and hugs Sarah xxx
